Community Land Working Paper Series (CLWP Series)
The Community Land Working Paper Series (CLWP Series), published by a consortium of civil society organisations working in the land sector in northern Kenya, presents evidence-based discussions of emerging issues in the registration and governance of community land in Kenya. The CLWP Series aims to help communities, duty bearers, and other stakeholders to understand and optimally administer community lands covering some sixty percent of Kenya’s land area. The Series also seeks to present Kenyan experiences as case studies that can inform comparative, regional, and global decisionmaking.
Papers published in the CLWP Series set out preliminary research findings in hopes of prompting discussion and suggesting areas for further investigation. Readers are invited to share comments to the authors or editors via the contact details provided.
